About Photo Rejuvenation

Photo Rejuvenation is a non-invasive treatment that erases skin damage without disrupting the surface of the skin. The patented non-laser technology supplies a broad spectrum of light that reaches deep down to the collagen producing level of the skin, remarkably reducing the signs of aging. The procedure can result in your skin having a healthier and more youthful appearance, and is especially effective for improving the appearance of the face, neck and chest.

Are You a Candidate for Photo Rejuvenation?

The best candidates are those who suffer from rosacea, experience flushing and/or redness of their skin. Other possible candidates include people who are experiencing premature signs of aging and/or sun damage can also benefit from the treatment. Additionally, people who do not want to take time off to heal from laser resurfacing or chemical peels will find the almost immediate recovery period of Photo Rejuvenation extremely convenient.

About the Procedure

Each Photo Rejuvenation treatment takes approximately 20 to 40 minutes to complete. As with any cosmetic procedure, a mild amount of discomfort can be expected. For most patients, topical anesthetic cream will be applied if necessary to help alleviate this discomfort.

Immediately following the procedure, your skin may appear red and flushed, and tiny capillaries may appear more visible than usual. Any brown spots will generally appear darker. All of these initial changes will gradually fade anywhere from a few hours to a few days.

What to Expect after the Procedure

After your first treatment, your skin will feel smoother and will have a more even tone. These improvements are gradual and will become more visible after each treatment. A total of five treatments is recommended for optimal results. On occasion, some patients will benefit from additional treatments.
